Homestay and Lodge Management Training in Mugu

In order to promote the Mugu district as an adventure destination and to improve the infrastructure of homestay and small lodge management, High Impact Tourism Training (HITT), implemented by the SNV Netherlands Development Organization, provided financial support to Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN) to organize a Homestay and Small Lodge Management course for a total of 20 participants (all women) in Gamgadi the district headquarters of the Mugu district in West Nepal from 5th – 15th June 2013.

The main aim of the training course was to provide micro entrepreneurs with relevant knowledge and practical skills in the field of homestay and small lodge management so that they are able to make a better income, acquire new skills and improve the services they are able to offer tourists.
